Additional Information for Growers
Fogging (using a thermal fogging machine such as ‘Pulsefog’, ‘Sunnyfog’ or ‘Dynafog’) should be done with all doors and windows closed and with the correct jet sizes set by directing the fog over the crop. This operation should be carried out in the late afternoon or evening and repeated once a week until the thrips have been eradicated, noting the maximum number of applications per crop.
Growers of ornamentals are advised to treat a small number of plants first in order to determine the tolerance of individual species before treating the bulk of the crop.
Please note that this product may be harmful to natural predators. Consult your supplier of bio control on the use of this pesticide in combination with the use of natural predators.
Total reliance on one pesticide will hasten the development of resistance. Pesticides of different chemical types or alternative control measures should be included in the planned programme. Alternating with different modes of action is a recognised anti-resistance strategy.
IMPORTANT: When applying this product under the terms of this Extension of Authorisation, comply with any resistance guidance or restrictions stated on the product label.
