Week 28 (2017) Update.

The lilies are growing away vigorously but there are already some differences showing up between the treatments.

The alstroemeria are now starting to flush again but are currently struggling to put on length.  Hopefully they will be producing marketable stems in a couple of weeks if the weather remains cooler than it did in June.

The helipterum have started to flower (see left hand photo below) but just like the gomphrena the later flowers will hopefully be long enough to be marketable.  The annual dianthus has also produced its first flush of flowers this week (see right hand photo)

The 2017 planting of veronica has started flowering this week (see left hand photo) and the last of the 2016 planting of solidago has just finished harvesting (see right hand photo).
