EAMU 2354/2013 ‘Regalis’ containing (100 g / kg prohexadione calcium) on protected ornamentals as a plant growth regulator

This Extension of Authorisation for Minor Use (EAMU) relates to ‘Regalis’ (M12414) as a plant growth regulator on protected ornamentals, click on the download button to view the notice.

Neither the efficacy nor the phytotoxicity of the product for which this EAMU has been granted has been assessed and, as such, the user bears the risk in respect of failures concerning its efficacy or phytotoxicity.
Additional Information for Growers
‘Regalis’ should not be applied mixed with calcium based foliar fertilisers.   The manufacturers of ‘Regalis’ recommend the addition of a water conditioner (eg X-Change) in areas of hard water.   ‘Regalis’ has not been tested for crop safety on all ornamental species and varieties commercially grown in the UK. Therefore, growers are strongly advised to test crop safety on a small area of crop prior to wide-scale use. Discolouration or lightening of flowers may result from the use of ‘Regalis’.
Caution is especially advised on red and blue flowering plants. Further information on the use of ‘Regalis’ on bedding plants is available in HDC Project Report PO 004.
IMPORTANT: When applying this product under the terms of this Extension of Authorisation, comply with any resistance guidance or restrictions stated on the product label.
This EAMU has been sent to you by the HDC, who distribute EAMUs (formerly known as SOLAs) on the basis of the crop information that you have previously provided. If you are receiving EAMUs for crops that you no longer grow, or not receiving EAMUs for those that you do grow, please contact the HDC by email on hdc@hdc.ahdb.org.uk quoting your levy number.
In order to comply with current legislation, you should download this EAMU onto your personal computer or retain a paper copy before using this EAMU.
NB. CRD have advised that there may be a short delay of up to four working days before new EAMUs are available on the CRD website, after they have first been issued to HDC.
