Week 18 Update

10 May, 2015 by lyndon

This week we planted the first of the Trachelium trials.  Following on from the success of  last years small trial we are undertaking more extensive work to look at a combination of planting date, varieties and pinching.  The next trial is due to be planted in week 20.

This years Zinnia crop has also  now been planted (from plugs) using a wide range of colours from the Benary Giants.  This should give us a good supply of flowers to undertake additional vase life work in conjunction with Chrysal.   This year we have netted them in the early stages in the hope that we do not again provide the rabbits with a tasty breakfast!!

The perennials (both protected and outdoors are continuing to grow away well.
