The third sowing of seed raised fillers have been sown in the Spanish tunnel and a large sowing has been made outdoor. The first two indoor sowings are growing away well but the speed of growth of the different species is very variable (as would probably be expected)
The final planting of the trachelium has now been made. The second planting has just been pinched and the first planting is growing away well. We have also planted a new range of pinks that have been supplied by Whetmans.
The first flush of delphiniums has now started to crop and some of the varieties of alstroemeria continue to produce a large number of high quality stems. As per last year all marketable stems are being counted and the figures will be collated at the end of the season.
