The week 26 planting of lilies was stood out in the tunnel at the end of this week alongside the first planting.
The Danziger Scabious (Scoop series) produced the first proper flush this week although the overall size of the plant is smaller this year than the same time last year. This is presumably due to the early budding issues caused by the excessive heat in June. The Hilverda varieties look like they will have some marketable stems by next week.
The first planting of grasses was fully harvested this week (left hand photo) while the other plantings continue to grow away well (right hand photo).
The column stocks in the Fusarium tunnel have now established well and are starting to grow away. We would expect to see obvious signs of Fusarium infection within the next week or two!
