Week 33 Update

25 August, 2014 by lyndon

Things are starting to ease off a bit now.  We are continuing with assessments of the trials including the alstroemeria which are still cropping heavily and the harvesting of the Cassey aster ericoides which are  a week later than the other varieties.

Most of the lily “Dynamite” from the herbicide trial have now been harvested and assessed.

The first sowing (week 22) of the Ammi Visnaga has also started to flower and is being vase life tested.  However the stems are huge and for this crop  to be successful the spacing (or variety choice) needs to be revisited.
