Week 43 to 45 (2016) Update

The crop of Ranunculus has established well (see photos below) and it is hoped to remove the tunnel cover in the next week or two.

The brassica trial was harvested in week 43 and 44 with samples being sent to an number of customers (many thanks to Sue Lamb for doing this)

The Bullrush alternative lily media trial was not quite ready to harvest by the time the frosts occurred in early November.  Hence these were moved into a warm glasshouse at the beginning of week 45 and then harvested and assessed at the end of that week.

The tunnel covers on the triple span were removed ready for the winter at the end of week 45.
